This paper presents an analysis of how an art installation in a toy library – an educational space dedicated to symbolic and experimental play – can foster critical reflection on gender roles in childhood. The study adopts a qualitative approach, integrating pedagogical and artistic dimensions. It is grounded in two key methodologies in art and education research: Arts-Based Research (ABR) and A/r/tography, through a cultural mediation proposal that challenges gender norms in play.
