Abstract

Political transition processes are usually accompanied by new legal systems. The aim of this article is to analyze the legal texts approved in the different Spanish political regimes (dictatorship and democracy) regarding the position of women in society. The documentary methodology used focuses on the analysis of legal and political texts. The results show the priorities and conceptions of each political system regarding women, their role and status, as well as all the changes that occurred in the course of these years.
